Most people know soda is unhealthy, but are less aware of the amount of added sugars in other sugary beverages. Refined sugar is lurking in drinks, like energy drinks, sports drinks and pasteurized fruit drinks with added sugars.
I know some health conscious folks that take energy drinks due to work (or overwork) and trying to meet deadlines, etc but there is a quicker and safer way to get an energy boost. It’s called breathing.
I’m not being facetious. Just hear me out. I had my biz bestie, Brianna Wilkerson, come on the show to talk about essential oils that can give you the energetic boost you need without the crash and damaging effect of energy drinks and other sugary beverages.
I understand that essential oils may not help you pull an all-nighter but all-nighters are the worst. They rob you of brain cells and decrease cognitive function. Lack of sleep robs you in every way possible. However, if you are in a situation where emergency energy is needed, I have talked on the podcast before about yerba mate tea.
On this episode, we also discuss essential oils to help curb burnouts and stress so make sure to share this with the folks in your family who are in need of a mini vacation.
