I’ve been noticing a very interesting trend. As our technology has advanced, the food has evolved. Now trending is plant-based faux meat completely genetically engineered to taste and look like real meat. This is in an effort to save the planet with more sustainable food production. There are also more and more plant-based shake companies being born. They tout nutritional benefits as well as environmental ones. According to their marketing material, they save time and the planet by providing plant-based protein in as little packaging as possible.
