Fat on the body is basically the accumulation of toxins over time. Here are a few toxins that most contribute to obesity:
Grains – most of the grains consumed in America are through processed foods and this is especially the culprit for overweight vegans.
Soda – even folks who know better still drink soda. Maybe it’s for the sugar fix or just out of bad habit but this drink is mostly refined sugar with no nutritional value.
Refined sugar – this is basically in all processed foods. If you look on the shelf at Whole Foods, you will see soups and salad dressings loaded with sugar.
Processed foods – not only are they loaded with sugar and chemicals to keep it on the shelves longer but they also are full of salt, which leads to hypertension issues for folks. This salt is not the healthy salt that provides minerals. It’s coated in chemicals.
Animal products – because they are full of saturated fat and high in dietary cholesterol with absolutely no fiber. This is the number one cause of type 2 diabetes.
These are just a few of the culprits. Eliminate these and you will be in good shape to get slim by Summer. Get the rest of the list and what to eat instead on this episode of the Raw Food Health Empowerment Podcast below.
