You may be noticing more and more mono fruit meals on the plans. Not only are mono-meals optimal for digestion, they are also great for very busy people. I think one reason a health conscious individual would still use a microwave or eat junk is because their lives are so busy they cannot even slow down to make a smoothie that takes 5 minutes to put together.
If you are constantly running around, eating bananas, pre-washed apples, or already cut and prepped mangoes fill and satisfy you and take absolutely no time. This is healthy raw fast food.
The smoothies can be prepped in advanced and taken on the go, but some people prefer it fresh out the blender. Coconut Water is another one that’s great because you can bottle it in advanced to drink for your busy periods the next day.
Of course this kind of preparation takes practice, so if you end up on the street hungry and want to stick to this healthy meal plan, I would advise you do what I do when I am in that predicament, which is do the best I can. For example, I ended up out and about today doing work on my laptop and running errands. Other times its I am out having meetings since we are in the middle of expanding our business and opening two new locations miles away from each other. So I am out and hungry and no prepped produce to eat. I find the nearest Whole Foods and get fresh cut fruit, a smoothie, a juice, nuts, seeds, or a kale salad from the salad bar. If I am close to Earths Healing Cafe, I get a drink or if I am close by Karyn’s I get the carob pecan pie. These are my options on the road. I still have variety. I do not have to starve and I do not have to stray from my diet. Luckily, there is a Whole Foods all over America so you can literally be dropped in any major city in America and quickly adjust your meal plan for what is available.
