The keys to longevity are stress reduction, finding purpose, and giving back to the community. Are you doing all the things for a long healthy life but don’t have the will to live beyond 70? We have research showing us the way to live to 120 and beyond but if you don’t want to live that long, all the healthy habits won’t make a difference. Our mind is super powerful. Yogis can decide when they leave their body and folks die within the time frame the doctors tell them how many days they have left to live. This is the power of the mind. Dr. Joe Dispenza has written many books about this among other doctors and scientists in the wellness space.
Why choose to stay? I say stay because if God has not deemed it fit that it’s your natural end then you still have work to do on this planet.
I have spoken to some women in my community who don’t have the will or energy to continue because they’ve had a really bad, nasty divorce. She went through a difficult divorce after a 17 year emotionally abusive marriage. The divorce triggered all of her childhood neglect and abandonment trauma which led her on a journey to true healing and rebuilding her life after divorce. Since then she has gone through her work of emotional recovery, found the love of her life and is now happily remarried.
