Preparation
- Wash and cook your black lentils. I had an almost empty bottle of pasta sauce so I added water to it and added it to the lentils so it would cook in it like a broth.
- Once the lentils cooked and all the water disappeared (there was a little liquid at the bottom only, not much), I added this chili powder mix, ½ a bottle of Engine 2 pasta sauce, and 1 tablespoon coconut nectar.
- I chopped up a bunch of cilantro to top it off.
- I served it over quinoa.
