Mead Botanical Garden Volunteer Orientation (1300 S Denning Dr, Winter Park, FL 32789)

We plan to get started at 10 a.m. We will start with a garden overview and volunteer forms, followed by a tour of the grounds, and then with whatever time is leftover, you can get started gardening!

What to bring?

• your own set of garden gloves (if you have them)
• a water
• any small garden tools you may like to use (optional)
• wear some comfortable clothes you don’t mind working on and getting a little dirty in.
• License or Photo ID

Come join us for a fun morning of goat snuggles, giggles, and yoga stretches! We provide clean mats but recommend bringing a towel to lay on.

Global Wellness Day aims to answer the question, even if for just one day, “How can I live a healthier and better life?”, to direct the thoughts of both individuals and society toward “living well” and raise awareness.

LiveTrends and Central Florida Power Yoga celebrate Global Wellness Day with an immersive yoga session, surrounded by beautifully designed works of art and natural life.

Come behind the scenes and see how the goats and other animals are cared for at Southern Bay Farm. Get a hands-on educational tour with one of our farmers or Volunteers on just how a goat farm is run yearly. Go home with some goodies made right here, fresh on the farm!.
