Tammy is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for Black and other communities of color to engage in yoga. She started practicing yoga eight years ago (self-taught) during graduate school as a method of stress relief, which quickly grew into a passion. After years of urging from those who have followed her yoga journey online, Tammy decided to complete her yoga teacher certification in 2020 and is a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) with the Yoga Alliance.

FREE family and pet-friendly vegan food festival with over 15 food vendors and 30 total vendors. Enjoy an afternoon with music, drinks, food, and local businesses, all completely vegan.

An afternoon neighborhood pop-up market featuring 20+ local makers. Featuring jewelry, candles, art, tasty treats, and vintage finds, plus much more. Check out our board game tent for a little nostalgic fun.

Tampa Plant Swap (4206 North Nebraska Avenue Tampa, FL 33603)

Bring as many plants as you want. You will receive a ticket for each plant you bring, and you may swap for that same number of new plants to bring home!.

Please bring clean, pest-free plants. All types of legal plants are permitted. You name it: houseplants, cacti, succulents, garden plants, herbs, trees, flowering plants!

Plants should arrive in nursery pots or plastic pots. Cuttings should be rooted / in water or soil (so start your cuttings now!) All plants must be labeled with their plant ID.

James Stevenson, your local Extension Specialist, examines the basics of plant identification, from using simple keys to identifying critical characteristics that will help any would-be botanist in the field.
