A plant community gathering is seeking to connect fellow plant lovers of Tampa. Bring your clippings, unused planting pots, and plants to swap out and add to your collection.
We will have our unique brewed blend of mushroom coffee for you to enjoy during the plant swap at Liquid Lounge – Tampa’s Juice and Smoothie Bar.

The Tampanian Vintage Jungle – Alocasia Plant Potting Workshop (1910 North Florida Avenue, Tampa, FL 33602)
During the workshop, you will learn how to remove the plant from its old pot, create a soil mixture for Alocasias, and repot it into its new ceramic pot.
The workshop includes:
– an Alocasia plant of your choice
– ceramic pot
– Alocasia soil mixture
– instructions and guidance on soil mixture, light needs, and repotting of your plant so it’s ready to take home.

Fruit Tree Planting at the Hindu Society Temple (1994 East Lake Drive, Casselberry, FL 32707)
Join IDEAS For Us in planting fruit trees throughout the grounds of the Hindu Society of Central Florida’s Temple in Casselberry. This temple serves as a community space for the public where people can find fresh and affordable meals every Sunday. These fruit trees will be accessible to the public, providing a new and local food source to our community.

The Lake Mary Farmers Market features local vendors of produce, plants, and arts and crafts. Every Saturday, the market is set in the beautiful, shady Central Park at Lake Mary City Hall.

Goat Yoga: Saturdays (15802 Golf Course Road Parrish, FL 34219)
We’ll gather in a shady outdoor space on our yoga mats amidst goats on beautiful farmland. The friendly goats are curious and love to investigate, climb, & jump- sometimes on you! It’s a gorgeous massage, but you might want to wear a closed-back top.
The class will run for 1 hour, but you’re invited to hang out an extra 1/2 hour to snuggle with the goats & take pictures. Tara offers a fun yoga routine designed to provide a well-balanced practice. Modifications are always offered to make asanas more approachable. Ages 8+ are invited with a guardian; everyone needs their ticket.
Don’t forget to bring your yoga mat, towel, blanket, water, sunscreen & comfortable clothes.

Art for EARTH (390 N Orange Ave, Suite 110)
NOIRS Art for Earth Event is purposed to use fashion and art to bring attention to the world’s ever-growing environmental issues.
Models will be placed around the event venues covered in earth and different earth elements found around construction zones. Live rescue animals will also be available for light interaction and adoption.
Potted plants will be given away to the first 50 people to arrive.
Guest Appearances by some of Florida’s very own Environmentalist/Animal Activist.
Proceeds go to rebuilding our planet!

This class will cover a list of tasty and easy to grow food crops, best practices & growing tips, and end-of-summer garden bed prep. Taught by the local edible gardening expert Desiree’s Sims of Peas & Love Edible Gardening.
